The Sanctuary community curtain's vision

OUR MISSION IS SIMPLE….

For LGBTQ+ and their Allies of all ages to build and nurture their creative expression in a safe environment. We are committed to all of our members exploring the arts as performers and technicians through meaningful production experiences in a variety of styles and to foster relationships along with an appreciation of theatre arts. We allow each and every one of our members to be a part of each production; be it on stage speaking or singing, behind the scenes setting up and supporting our actors, or somewhere in the middle of the two. 

We are a Nonprofit group. We charge a minimal membership fee, which covers the cost of actor scripts and all necessary royalty fees that need to be paid to produce each show. TSCC relies on local business sponsorships, donations and volunteers for each production we put on. All ticket sale money from each production gets donated directly to The Sanctuary of the Treasure Coast. Our director’s team of volunteers work hard to ensure that every show we produce is top-notch- filled with laughter, excellent drama (when needed), and most of all, a cast and crew who love what they are doing! Our cast and crew members work just as hard (if not harder) to put on a show everyone will enjoy!

Our aim is to produce two shows a year; one in the Spring and one in the Fall. This takes a lot of dedication from our members and at times can get overwhelming, so we ensure that we have plenty of time to celebrate our hard work. Each production hopes to find new members to join along on stage with our returning members. We aim to be a large membership organization, allowing all to join every new show. We are not just a Children’s theatre group, not just a professional theatre group, not an exclusive theatre group….
